September Purchase (1) - DX Ultra Zero Eye (China Version)

Gotten this at approximately SGD 25.45... This is the China version of the DX Ultra Zero Eye... This was release to commemorate the "Ultra Hero 50th Anniversary"... and this is not on the same quality level as the version release in 2010... There are a lot of bad scratches of plastic or paint, and both the triggers are not comfortable to press down properly... but for this price, I can easily forgive and forget these flaws, hahahahaha... Very happy to finally own 1 DX Ultra Zero Eye... Am reluctant to buy the other China version Ultraman DX toys as they often have many lines dubbed into Chinese...

August Purchase (2) - DX WizarSwordGun ( Kamen Rider Wizard Series )

Many thanks to Eugene for informing the KR Wizard driver and swordgun sales at Kiddy Palace, thank you thank you! I went to Toa Payoh outlet just now and gotten the DX WizarSwordGun, finally... Costs $19... So am quite glad now that my purchase of a 2nd-hand piece at Taobao.com failed... Have also modded the First Hero Series WizarSwordGun such that it will automatically switch the sounds when the blade is flipped... Happy...

... "tok tok tok" sound??!!!!!! Hahahahahaha....

August Purchase (1) - Haul from 21st Craziest Toys Sale at Takashimaya

Sadly only saw the ad for the this sales yesterday night, and today is the last day of the sales... though I did not missed out this sales, I am pretty sure I have missed out other good bargains after being late for 1 week... sigh... still not able to get a DX WizarSwordGun....

Here's the haul...

The repeated one is for me... Difficult to resist at $2 per pack...

This was gotten at Level 4 though... and $8 is cheap!!! ... How can there be gashapons without a gashapon machine right? Hahahaha...

Initially wanted to buy this to mod into briefcase for storing my tokusatsu small items, since it costs only $3 per piece.. but seem may not be able to due to the small size and split parts... anyway, the other is for my little nephew...

Also bought these for my little niece... Hope she likes them!!! hahahaha...

Unwillingly picked up this as I could not find the DX version and the price is only $9... but quite surprised to discover that it is the same size as the DX version when I compared it to my little nephew's DX one... hence I searched in Taobao.com and ordered a 2nd-hand DX, hoping to be able to transplant the circuit into this one... Yeap, I am a hygiene freak, does not like to own a 2nd-hand toy (outer-casing)... the inner is ok though, since it probably was never touched by the precious owner, hahahaha... I am weird, I know... hahahaha... sigh, so stressed these few months...

And here's a demo on the First hero Series WizarSwordGun...

July Purchase (1) - DX Taja Spinner, DX Hyper Muteki Gashat, Candy Toy Bang Bang Shooting Gashat, Candy Toy Jet Combat Gashat

Haul from Taobao.com... and now my Taobao agent is very strict over the shipping of items containing batteries, so have to ship the last 3 items via "sensitive air" shipping, which costs about 3 times more than the normal air shipping I used... anyway, saw the DX Taja Spinner over Taiwan Yahoo Shopping, at NTD 199 (exclude shipping NTD 80) which works out to be approximately SGD 12.60 each, if buying 2 pieces... and the GREED gets over me... BUT ! the big box means high $$$ (total of $30.13 including agent fee) in shipping to Singapore... Sigh... Shipping more than the item cost... Now each piece costs approximately SGD 27.65 ... A bit smaller than expected but should be quite fun! ... Yes, 1 for me and the other for my little nephew...

And also bought the DX Hyper Muteki gashat for my little nephew's National Day present, approximately SGD 57.15... Sigh, just saw a eBay listing for SGD 42... Arrrrgggghhhh....

Candy toy Bang Bang Shooting gashat... Finally made my mind to get it, and complete my little nephew's main Riders' transformation gashats Level 1 - 3 ... Hesitant to get it as I know if I buy non-DX gashat, I will be compelled to add lights to it... and it takes time as I will want to put in 2 sets of light in gahsats...

Final Haul for June 2017... DX Medajalibur ( Kamen Rider OOO )

Gotten it from eBay, at a price of USD 34.99 ( approximately SGD 50.44 ) ... Not the cheapest ( lowest price in Singapore seem to be SGD 20.00 at one of the Kiddy Palace sales a few years ago), and I have not since seen a DX Medajalibur with a similar ( low ) price, so decided to get this from eBay... Is my 2nd purchase of this toy, as the first time is bought for my little nephew, at the price of SGD 35.00 ...

Quite fun, but the finale explosion sound effect seem to sound the same regardless of number of medals put into... Have since replaced 1 of the medals with a extra Rhino cell medal from my DX Birth Buster's ammunition pool...

Gattai !!!! Customized Gashapon-"DX" Mighty Brothers XX Gashat

And here we go!!!!... (Complicated work, but the concepts are simple... Hence I shall talk about the concepts only, do try out (at your own risks) and have fun ... and sweat too...) First the Double-Up orange gashat needs to swap the 2 little switches' circuit paths to behave as if it is in Level 1-2 slot of the DX Gamer Driver (cut off the end of the original path and solder to the other path at the most convenient position, refer to picture)...

To decide to Level-Up or Double-Up, a switch is used to switch over the battery's positive to that particular circuit board desired... white LEDs are also added....

The final attack (Kimewaza) sound is included in the gashats and can be activated with the 2 little buttons depressed and followed by pressing the big (thumb-pressed) button. However, as the big button is hidden when the gashat is in the DX Gamer Driver, I connect a switch parallel to it for the final attack (Kimewaza) to be activated...

The 2 gashats (main body) are then hot-glued together (while they are placed inside the DX Gamer Driver, so as to accurately space the distance between them)...

Hole is marked out for the front display for the images...

... and cut out...

ABS plastic sheets are used to make the side walls to encase the images... They have to be painted black...

Internal images are pasted... The Level 10 image is self-printed as it needs to be reversed for the mirror to be reflected... Also hot glued the LEDs to position...

Made a single-direction-view mirror using the film and a clear PVC sheet...

Should not have been lazy and used the green gashat plate without flipping over... Now the space is too small for the mirror to be angled properly at 45 degrees with ample space.... sigh... anyway...

A small piece of the mirror is cut off and placed at the bottom to reflect the light up at the legs...

Front display hole is covered with a piece of transparent plastic recycled from old Transformers packaging box...

Assemble them... do some touching up and...

... Done!!!!! Not very good but still workable... hahahaha...
